20th University Entry Scheme (20th UES) for Permanent Commission in the Army July 2011-2012

The Indian Army is looking for a few good men. For the best and the brightest amongst you. For men with intellect, idealism and courage. Applications are invited from unmarried male Engineering Degree students studying in Final Year or Pre-final year during academic session July 2010-2011 for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army in all Arms/Service.

Age : Final Year Degree candidate - Not below 20 years and not over 25 years and for Pre-Final Year Degree Candidates - Not below 18 years and not over 24 years., TGC-113 - 20-27 years, SSC (T) - 20-27 years, SSC (T) Women - 20-27 years

Physical Standard: As applicable to the regular army [Height-157.5 cm, For Gorkhas and individuals belongings to hills of North Easter region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum height will be 5 cm less. For candidates from Lakshadweep the height will be reduced by 2 cms.

Pay Scale : The Indian Army offers pay scale of Rs. 16500-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-

How to Apply: Apply on the plain paper as per the prescribed format. The envelope (white) containing the application should be Superscribed in Red ink indicating clearly the branch of Engineering applied for i.e ' Applications for 20 UES Entry : ......... Engineering. Send your application so as to reach respective Command HQ at the following address on or before 31 Jul 2010. Two unstamped self addressed envelop to receive an interview call letter should also be enclosed with the application.

Applications are invited for filling up the 33 posts (UR-10, OBC-10, SC-8,ST-5) of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) in ITB Police from Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of applications is 22/07/2010. Last date is 29/07/2010 for the candiates from far-flung areas.

जयपुर. राज्य में जल्द ही 5 हजार कांस्टेबल, 6500 शिक्षकों, 3 हजार डॉक्टरों और 800 वाणिज्यिक कर अधिकारियों की भर्ती होगी। ये भर्तियां लंबे समय से अटकी थीं। मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने सोमवार को विभिन्न विभागों में रिक्त पदों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया की समीक्षा कर जरूरत के हिसाब से इसमें सरलीकरण कर तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।

कार्मिक विभाग की बैठक में गहलोत ने आरएएस की भर्ती प्रक्रिया में एकरूपता एवं व्यावहारिकता लाने के लिए मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्चस्तरीय समिति के गठन के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव जल्द ही विभागीय बैठकें आयोजित कर प्रस्ताव को अंतिम रूप देंगे, जिस पर मंत्रिमंडल फैसला करेगा। बैठक में राजस्थान लोक सेवा आयोग को अन्य विभागों से प्राप्त नियुक्ति आवेदनों पर भी विचार किया गया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिए कि सभी विभाग नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया की समीक्षा कर प्रस्तावों को कैबिनेट में पेश करें ताकि नियुक्तियां एक निश्चित समय सीमा में हो सकें। लोक सेवा आयोग के अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र कुमावत ने इस बाबत आरएएस परीक्षा का समयबद्ध कैलेंडर तैयार करने, नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया निश्चित समयावधि में पूर्ण करने का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि सितंबर माह से ‘ऑनलाइन‘ प्रवेश पत्र की व्यवस्था लागू कर दी जाएगी। आरएएस परीक्षाओं के आयोजन में पौने तीन वर्ष तक लग जाते हैं, जिसे घटाकर सवा साल तक लाया जाएगा।

बैठक में मुख्य सचिव टी.श्रीनिवासन, कार्मिक विभाग के प्रमुख सचिव खेमराज, पुलिस महानिदेशक हरीश मीणा सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
